According to Stepanov, this is the second death of a child in Ukraine during the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 12,400 children were diagnosed with coronavirus infection during this time.
During the last day, 3,372 people fell ill in Ukraine, of which 242 are children and 172 are doctors. 685 people were hospitalized, 1788 patients recovered.
“This is such a pleasant record for us during the pandemic. We have never had so many people recovered,” the minister said.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 188,106, 3757 people have already become victims of the infection (+52 in the last 24 hours). It still hurts 100,891 recovered patients 83,458 people, including 1788 – on the last day.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. March 11, 2020 World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
