The mayors of the second round were elected in seven cities

Of the seven Ukrainian cities where the second round of local elections was held, the lowest turnout was in Sumy and the highest in Kamenets-Podolsk.

The second round of local elections was held in seven cities in Ukraine on Sunday, November 15. The turnout at 8:00 pm was 24%, according to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

Residents of Sumy, Odessa, Kherson, Lutsk, Kamenets-Podolsk, Kramatorsk and Ukrainka elected mayors.

The highest participation rate was recorded in Kamyanets-Podilsky, Khmelnitsky region: 34.29%. And the lowest participation was observed in Sumy (19.02%).

The CEC stressed that this information is not official, since it is received by the CEC from the bodies that maintain the State Register of Voters, which in turn receive this information from the territorial electoral commissions (TEC).

The results of the voting in the elections of deputies of city councils and mayors of the cities must be established by the TEC no later than the fifth day from the day of the repetition of the vote, that is, until November 20 inclusive.

Meanwhile, it became known that Maia Sandu is leading in Moldova following the results of the second round of the presidential elections.

Trump was also reported to have denounced “appalling irregularities” in the elections and threatened him with lawsuits.
