End of Kiev “DynamoViktor Tsygankov commented on the victory over “Ferencvaros” (1: 0) in the final round of the Champions League group stage and the exit of the “white blues” in the Europa League playoffs.

– We understood that even if a draw suits us, playing for a draw, especially at home, is not in the principles of Dynamo Kiev. Also, we played 2: 2 away with Ferencvaros, even though we were leading 2: 0 after the first half and we knew we could win that match, so we wanted to win here too. The first victory in the Champions League will help the boys, including me in the future.

– It seemed that after the first goal you were gaining strength, and “Ferencvaros” seemed to give up. Was it a turning point?

– Of course, opponents had chances, they could score. But we resisted and we realized our opportunity, changing the course of the game. It was a comfortable score for us and we were already playing by score.

– With which game of this Champions League are you satisfied?

– Each game developed differently. There were games where we played better, but we lost. Today we play, probably, not the type of football we want to show, but there is a result. Therefore, the feeling is double, but the main thing is that there is a European spring.

– How does the absence of fans in the stands affect?

– To be honest, it’s terrible. I would like the fans to return to the stands and support the team. After all, football without fans is not the kind of football we are all used to. There is a great incentive for soccer players when people come to the stadium to support you.

– Ahead is the last game of the first part of the season, with what strength are you facing it?

– We will always find physical strength. It is clear that this is the last game, but since we have a specific task, we cannot relax. We must end this year and only then go on vacation.
