Donald Trump is missing the G20 pandemic prep session. The President plays golf at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.
Reported by CNN.
The virtual meeting should take place just when the president is busy playing.
“It is unlikely that President Trump will attend the G20 Virtual Summit pandemic preparation side event,” CNN reported.
Leaders from Germany, France, South Korea and Argentina will speak at the event.
Saudi Arabia said the event aims to “promote international cooperation and find solutions that protect people’s lives and livelihoods.”
Trump arrived at his Virginia golf course at this time and is not in the lineup for the event.
We will remember, on November 7, the US media announced the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the US presidential elections, when he obtained 270 electoral votes thanks to his victory in Pennsylvania.
Following the completion of the vote count in all states, Biden received a total of 306 electoral votes, while the incumbent president and Republican candidate Donald Trump received 232 votes.
To win, it takes 270 of the 538 electoral college votes. They will officially vote on December 14.
Biden will take office as the 46th president of the United States on January 20, 2021. The center for the handover of the presidency is already asking Trump to initiate this process. Biden is now appointing key officials from the transition administration.
