Donald Trump spreading fakes?
Social media users are spreading a false quote attributed to Biden, where he allegedly says that if he wins the next US election, he will introduce a prolonged lockdown.
The current president of the United States, Donald Trump, accused his rival in the next elections Joe Biden of wanting to introduce a blockade in the country, which could last for years, but this information may be a fake of social networks.
“Biden wants to block our country, maybe for years. Crazy! There will be no blockade. The great American comeback has already begun!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

However, on October 21, Reuters wrote that social media users were spreading a false quote attributed to Biden, where he allegedly says that if he wins the next presidential election in the United States, he will introduce a blockade in the country until all are vaccinated against COVID-19.
Reuters found no evidence that Biden uttered this exact quote in the news or on his website.
In fact, Biden said that if scientists had advised him to shut down the country to curb the coronavirus pandemic, he would have done so, but he doesn’t think there was a need for such isolation across the country. Support the opening of businesses and schools, provided sufficient security measures are taken, the agency writes.
Biden himself wrote on his Twitter on October 30: “I am not going to shut down the country. I am not going to shut down the economy. I am going to end the virus.”
I will not close the country.
I am not going to shut down the economy.
I’m going to turn off the virus.
