United States President Donald Trump said two of his friends died after being infected with the coronavirus. He announced this on May 14, speaking with employees of the Pennsylvania Medical Equipment Distribution Center.
“I lost five acquaintances, two of whom were my very good friends,” said the American leader.
He added that generally in the case of a cold or flu, people feel better after a couple of days of treatment, however, in the case of coronavirus, the condition of their friends only worsened.
“You call two days later to find out how they feel and they reply, ‘Sir, they’re in a coma,'” Trump said.
At the same time, according to the American leader, the health of his friends before the COVID-19 disease was not in good shape.
