According to CNN, when US President Donald Trump was playing golf at his club, the G20 summit discussed fighting the coronavirus infection.

On November 21, US President Donald Trump, instead of attending the G-20 summit, went to play at his golf club outside of DC. Reported by CNN.

The television station highlights that the head of the White House was present at the inauguration of the summit, who was on the air with the G20 leaders from the situation room of his administration. However, just 13 minutes after the start of the summit, Trump tweeted about the US elections and two hours later left the White House.

When G20 leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, discussed fighting the coronavirus at the summit, Trump played golf at his country club, CNN claims.

The president of the United States is scheduled to attend the summit on November 22. The broadcaster believes this will likely be the last time Trump will speak to world leaders as US president.

The XV Annual Summit of the G20, which opened on November 21 in an online format, is held under the slogan “Seizing the opportunities of the 21st century for all”, its main theme is COVID-19 and countering the consequences of the pandemic.
