One of the Belarusian opposition leaders, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who was forced to leave for Lithuania under pressure, said that all the agreements that Alexander Lukashenko would sign with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the September 14 meeting would have no legal force.
This is stated in the statement from Tikhanovskaya, published on the Telegram channel “Pool Pervoy”.
“I want to remind Vladimir Putin: everything he accepts and agrees during the meeting in Sochi, will not have legal force. All agreements signed with the illegitimate Lukashenka will be reviewed by the new government. Because the Belarusian people refused Lukashenka he has confidence and support in the elections. I am very sorry that he has decided to enter into a dialogue with the usurper, and not with the Belarusian people, “the statement said.
Let us remind you that today, September 14, the talks between Putin and Lukashenko in Sochi will take place face to face.
We also wrote that previously Tikhanovskaya spoke about the wait-and-see tactics of the President of the Russian Federation, who “does not actively support Lukashenko.”
