Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya announced an ultimatum to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. She gave him 13 days to meet three requirements.

Tikhanovskaya submitted the following requirements:

1. Lukashenka must announce his resignation.
2. Street violence must stop completely.
3. All political prisoners must be released.

“Two months of political crisis, violence and anarchy have passed, and that is enough for us. On October 25 we announced a popular ultimatum,” he said.

Tikhanovskaya said that if these requirements are not met by October 25, the whole country will take to the streets peacefully with an ultimatum.

“And on October 26 a national strike of all companies will begin, all roads will be blocked, sales in state stores will collapse. You have 13 days to meet three conditions,” he said.

It should be noted that there have been massive protests in Belarus since August 9. The people do not recognize the presidential elections and demand the resignation of Lukashenka.
