Belarusian opponent Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has decided her position on Crimea. In his opinion, the Russian-occupied peninsula belongs to Ukraine.
This was reported by Ukrinform.
He stressed that it tends to belong to Crimea from the point of view of international law.
“My personal point of view is that there is international law, legislation. And on the basis of international law, Crimea, of course, belongs to Ukraine,” Tikhanovskaya said.
As for the armed aggression of Russia in Donbass, he opposes any manifestation of aggression. At the same time, he stressed that he has no right to speak on behalf of the Belarusian people.
Let us remind you that earlier Tikhanovskaya expressed the generally accepted position in Belarus that Crimea is de jure Ukrainian and de facto Russian.
After that, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said he wanted to hear their positions on the state of Crimea.
“It would be very useful if they (the opposition, – ed.) Expressed their attitude towards Ukraine, how they will evaluate and relate to the Russian aggression against our state, to the illegal occupation of Ukrainian territories. These are very simple statements that may sound and become a clear signal for Ukraine, “Kuleba said.
