In the Sea of Azov, the search continues for three crew members of the oil tanker General Hazi Aslanov, which started a fire after the explosion, Interfax reports.
“In the Sea of Azov, after the explosion, there was a fire in a Russian tanker, rescuers are looking for three crew members,” the message says.
First of all, we are talking about citizens of the Russian Federation: a boatswain, a 19-year-old sailor and a 23-year-old apprentice. According to the agency, the entire crew of the tanker was made up of Russians.
In addition, the Interfax interlocutor said that they plan to involve a Mi-8 helicopter in the search in the next few hours. It will fly out of Russian-occupied Simferopol. Two more helicopters should be sent to search in the morning.
