In the Sea of ​​Azov, the search continues for three crew members of the oil tanker General Hazi Aslanov, which started a fire after the explosion, Interfax reports.

“In the Sea of ​​Azov, after the explosion, there was a fire in a Russian tanker, rescuers are looking for three crew members,” the message says.

First of all, we are talking about citizens of the Russian Federation: a boatswain, a 19-year-old sailor and a 23-year-old apprentice. According to the agency, the entire crew of the tanker was made up of Russians.

In addition, the Interfax interlocutor said that they plan to involve a Mi-8 helicopter in the search in the next few hours. It will fly out of Russian-occupied Simferopol. Two more helicopters should be sent to search in the morning.

Let us remind you that an explosion occurred at the Russian tanker General Hazi Aslanov in the Sea of ​​Azov. Information about the incident came at 18:40 Moscow time, the ship was heading to Rostov-on-Don from occupied Kerch.
