One of Novichok’s developers, Leonid Rink, commented on the German intelligence chief’s statement that Alexei Navalny was poisoned by some kind of potent poison.
According to the chemist, the “strongest” substance mentioned by the explorer does not belong to the binary poisons of the “Novichok” group.
The expert’s words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
On Friday, the German edition “Der Spiegel”, quoting the head of Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service Bruno Kahl, reported that a “stronger” form of the Novichok substance was allegedly used in the Navalny poisoning.
“This is nonsense. The substance Spiegel wrote about is a substance that melts at higher temperatures. Under normal conditions, it is solid. It was certainly not a rookie. It is a different kind of substance – what they are about. It has never been a binary weapon. Does not apply (to the group “Newbie” – Ed.), it’s a different kind of substance, “Rink said.
The other day the chemist said that the opponent’s symptoms indicate that it was not Novichok who was used against him. And if it were the same poison, then Navalny would no longer be alive.
Earlier, “Strana” told him who Maria Pevchikh was, who was with Navalny on the day of her poisoning.
