The people’s deputy of the Servants of the People faction, Mykola Galushko, announced his resignation from the party in protest at the distribution of seats in the lists of the political force ahead of local elections in the Kiev region. The political force stressed that there is no talk of the popular deputy leaving the parliamentary faction.

The security service of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party has begun to verify the statements of its people’s deputy Nikolai Galushko, who said yesterday that in the local elections “all the seats on the lists of the Servant of the People party have been sold.”

“These are very serious accusations, since the ‘agreements’ and the sale of places on the lists are contrary to the moral principles of our team. Therefore, the party’s security service has already initiated the appropriate controls,” said the political force in a statement posted on Facebook.

The party noted that they are also verifying information provided by the head of the Kiev regional organization of the Servant of the People party, the People’s Deputy Alexander Dubinsky.

According to him, Mr. Galushko met with political opponents of the “Servant of the People” in the 97th district and probably intended to include his people on the list for local elections. The leadership of the “Servant of the People” party trusts the party teams in the regions. Therefore, all that is possible. At the same time, the supreme governing bodies and individuals have enough tools to influence the leadership of the cells, and they will certainly use them if the facts of the “sale of seats” are confirmed. ” added the political force.

According to the statement, Galushko has not yet asked to leave the party; there is no mention of his withdrawal from the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.

Galushko in 2019 won the elections to the Verkhovna Rada in the 97th district (center – Brovary, Kiev region). She is a member of the Parliamentary Law Enforcement Commission. For the parliamentary cadence, Galushko never spoke either from the rostrum or from her seat.

On September 26, he posted a video message on Facebook, in which he announced his resignation from the party in protest at the distribution of seats on the lists of the political force ahead of local elections in the Kiev region.
