Explosion site of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline
Six people and four teams from the Boyarsky Main Gas Pipeline Department participated in eliminating the consequences of the accident.
As a result of the depressurization of the gas pipeline near the town of Chabany, Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district, no one was injured. But rescuers continue to work on eliminating the blast, according to the State Emergency Service Tuesday morning, Sept. 15.
“At 1.10 am, the gas supply to the pipeline was cut off. There were no injuries or injuries,” the morning report said on the agency’s website.
It is indicated that initially 57 people and 18 teams were involved in eliminating the consequences. At 7:00 am, six people and four teams from the Boyarsky Main Gas Pipeline Department participated.
Rescuers also posted photos and videos from the site of the pipeline explosion.
Recall that on the night of September 15, a powerful explosion thundered in Chabany near Kiev. Power was cut off in nearby settlements.
Later it was learned that the high pressure gas pipeline (Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod) was depressurized. Gas is supplied to Europe through this pipeline.
