The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that “a powerful machine” has been working on purpose against the Ukrainian authorities for two years.

On February 13, the head of the Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, on the air of Ukraine 24 television channel, listed the reasons for the drop in the government’s rating.

“I will name several reasons, I am sure of them. The first reason is that there is a certain pattern, difficult times, COVID-19, we observe this trend not only in Ukraine. The second reason is that a powerful machine has been deliberately working against the Ukrainian authorities for two years, both within the country and from outside … Today the flow of false information, non-critical, practically direct insults, simply does not stop, “he said.

According to the director of the OP, who the customer is: “everyone knows, you don’t even need to say it.”

“The third reason is that the level of information policy leaves much to be desired. People must feel that their life is improving, this is the most important thing. But what the authorities do to improve life tomorrow is very important. The authorities do not have a single TV channel, they are against it is a completely different system, today the reasons are: The reasons are not that the president [Украины Владимир] Zelensky, as they wrote somewhere, “in two years managed to destroy a prosperous country, destroy the best medicine,” Yermak explained.

“No one will wait” for the authorities to complain, he stressed.

A poll by the Razumkov Center, conducted in Ukraine from January 29 to February 3, shows that more than half of citizens support the resignation of Denis Shmygal’s Cabinet of Ministers and the holding of early elections to the Verkhovna Rada; 48.8% of those surveyed support the early termination of the president’s powers.
