The official Poco Twitter account was ripped from the teasers with the first details, and on GearBest there is a Poco F2 Pro promotion page dedicated to the next news release. As part of the campaign, participants are invited to participate in the free Poco F2 Pro and the opportunity to be among the first to receive the long-awaited new product in their own hands.
The teasers, as usual, aren’t overly informative, so the key features are listed in a veiled way: the flagship single-chip system, plenty of memory, a frameless display, a large battery with fast charge, and a great camera. . At the same time, these advancements are excellent confirmation that the Poco F2 Pro is the version of the Redmi K30 Pro, released in China last month.
Remember that the Poco X2 unveiled earlier in the year in India was a full copy of the Redmi K30 model, which greatly upset Poco fans.
According to preliminary data, the European Pocophone F2 Pro will receive a Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with no cuts and holes with very narrow frames around the perimeter, a quad camera with a dominant module resolution of 64 megapixels, a front camera Retractable with a resolution of 20 megapixels, a battery capacity of 4700 mAh and fast charging power of 33 watts. The Poco F2 Pro will have two memory configurations (6/128 GB and 8/256 GB) and four color options (purple, white, gray and blue).
As for the price, the GearBest page does not mention the price, but previous rumors pointed to € 600 or € 650 depending on the market. The Poco F2 Pro will also be reported to be offered in a non-5G version in some markets, which will likely affect the price. In any case, € 600 is double the cost of the original model, which at some point started from € 330. And this clearly doesn’t appeal to potential buyers, as the Redmi K30 Pro costs € 500, although it’s not yet available outside of China.
The exact launch date of the Pocophone F2 Pro is not yet known, but generally the ad campaign begins a week or two before the official announcement.
