At an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, the people’s deputies at first reading approved a revised bill on amendments to the Budget Code. The decision was supported by 253 deputies.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on November 5 at the first reading approved the bill No. 4100-d “On Amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine,” reports the correspondent of the publication “GORDON”.
The corresponding project was supported by 253 popular deputies with a minimum of 226 required. Seventeen popular deputies voted against, 62 abstained.
Parliamentarians approved the bill during the second first reading at an extraordinary meeting of the Rada. The law was the only one on the agenda of this meeting, it was approved without discussion.
Parliamentarians adopted a revised version of the draft; its text is not available on the parliament’s website at the moment.
The deputies of the Rada in a meeting on November 5 could not approve the changes to the Budget Code: bill no. 4100 was supported as a base by just 225 people’s deputies, with a minimum of 226 needed. Because of this, the bill was sent to the parliamentary committee on budget issues for review.
Bill No. 4100 provides for amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine related to the need to regulate the legal basis for the operation of the budget system of Ukraine.
