The United States of America is considering the possibility of imposing sanctions on those who decide to sell weapons to Iran. Sanctions will be imposed on both organizations and individuals.

This was stated by the Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo. On twitter.

According to him, anyone who wants peace in the Middle East should refuse to sell weapons to Iran.

“Every weapon that the regime buys will be at the disposal of its radical ideology. We are willing to use internal authorities to impose sanctions on people or organizations that are involved in the sale of these weapons,” Pompeo said.

Let us remember that on October 18 the embargo on the sale of arms to Iran ended. Now any country can resume the arms trade with Tehran without consequences.

The day before, the UN Security Council refused to extend the arms embargo against Iran, as the United States insisted.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, US President Donald Trump promised to restore almost all UN sanctions against Iran, which ended.
