However, the delegation is open to a joint discussion on the additional format of the TCG’s work.

The delegation of Ukraine in Tripartite contact group (TCG) on resolving the situation in Donbass supported the position of the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in Ukraine and TCG Heidi Grau, who had to interrupt the TCG meeting.

This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by a source close to the negotiations at the TCG.

In particular, the OSCE Special Representative was forced to suspend today’s TCG meeting due to violations of the confidentiality regime by Russia.

According to the interlocutor, the Russian side kept an unauthorized audio and video recording of the work of the TKG. Furthermore, the head of the Russian delegation announced his intention to unilaterally release audio and video recordings of the talks.

“The OSCE representative suggested taking a break from the work of the TCG and holding an extraordinary meeting to agree on a code of conduct and a common information policy for all TCG participants,” said the source.

The Ukrainian side supported the position of the High Representative of the OSCE, stressing that “no one has the right to violate the principles of the TCG, taking alone actions that contradict the agreements reached and the international practice of negotiations, in particular confidential ones. “.

At the same time, the delegation of Ukraine stated that it is open to a joint discussion on the additional format of the TCG’s work.

“We are ready to continue working in a 24/7 format. But we strictly adhere to the OSCE position on the format of negotiations in the TCG, which was confirmed, among other things, by the OSCE High Representative as well. as well as the OSCE moderators in all working groups, “said the Ukrainian delegation. …

We will recall, earlier it was reported that the first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Vitold Fokin was removed from its composition. The decision was made in connection with the scandalous statements of the latter in Donbass.

Earlier, Zelensky pointed out that Ukraine will not blackmail in negotiations on a deal in Donbass.
