Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (MVD) Anton Gerashchenko, told “Strana” that a man who threatened to blow up a varenichnaya in Kiev was arrested today, November 2.
“He wasn’t right with his head,” Gerashchenko said.
Police added that the “invader” was a 33-year-old native of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, whose missing brother had previously announced. Now law enforcement officers are communicating with him on the spot.
According to preliminary information, no explosive devices were found in the man’s possession, however, law enforcement officers continue to carefully search the facilities and surroundings.
The incident was recorded in the unified register of statements and messages of the Pechersk Police Department. After verification, a legal rating will be given to this event.
