The State Emergency Service has withdrawn its units involved in the suppression of forest fires in the Lugansk region. The GSChS forces were brought in from five regions.

The press service of the department reports on this.

Then, on October 10, the withdrawal of the forces of the State Service for Emergency Situations from the Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Poltava and Kharkov regions took place.

“On this occasion, a column of fire trucks lined up in Severodonetsk Square, and the residents of the city, who came to support the firefighters, had the opportunity to say warm words of thanks to the rescuers for their hellish week.” says the message.

We recall, on October 8 in the Lugansk region from 9 am the last center of a large-scale fire was liquidated. It became extinct since September 30.

The last hearth went out near the village of Smolyaninovo, Novoaydarsky district, its area was almost 4.5 thousand hectares.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, 11 people were victims of fires in the Lugansk region.

Note that the police have identified four possible sources of ignition, which turned into a fire in the Lugansk region.
