The State Border Service reacted to the scandal surrounding its employee Igor Sharun, who compared soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to pigs, and ordered an official investigation.
So, on the institution’s Facebook page, they said that they condemn any action, whether deliberately irresponsible, that is being carried out against Ukraine’s defenders. The department’s leadership, as indicated in the message, immediately reacted to the essence of the text, which was published by the officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Shtefan.
“An immediate verification of the facts declared was carried out. It was established that a military man with such a name and surname is actually serving in the border department. Now an official investigation has been scheduled to study all the circumstances, based on the results of which will make the appropriate decisions, “the statement said.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, Ukrainian border guard Igor Sharun compared military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to pigs in the video and posted it on social media. The video garnered 119,000 views and was massively supported and distributed by Russians.
