Boris Klyuev was born on July 13, 1944 in Moscow. Since 1969 he has been an actor in the Maly State Academic Theater of Russia. In addition, he starred in 120 films.

The artist was a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, a member of the board of the Guild of Film Actors of Russia. In 2002 he received the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.
