The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, did not rule out the possibility of a split in the mono-majority. At the same time, he does not consider it necessary to expel the deputies of the faction in the first micro-scandal.

Arakhamia said this on the air of the program “Hard with Vlaschenko” on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”.

Responding to the question of whether the mono-majority could crumble, Arahamia replied that “such scenarios exist and are being resolved.”

“This fact cannot be ignored on the one hand. On the other hand, we are, to some extent, on a political stretch,” said Arahamia.

He considers it necessary to maintain a balance regarding the reaction to the “antics” of the popular deputies.

“Every time someone does something … the journalists and the public say,” We are going to kick him out of the faction. ” For me, a people’s deputy means a certain number of votes from a distance. laws for the country. If we separate ourselves from these people like that, in the end we really won’t be able to accept anything, we won’t have enough political will for this, “said Arahamia.

Recall that at the end of last year, Anna Skorokhod and Anton Polyakov were expelled from the faction. On Polyakov’s part, the reason for the exclusion was absenteeism, on Skorokhod’s part, the offer of bribes to people’s deputies.

In early September, Geo Leros was also expelled from the faction, which had previously had a public conflict with the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak.

Yesterday Aleksandr Yurchenko wrote a statement regarding his withdrawal from the faction after NABU announced that he had received bribes for voting on certain bills.
