As of September 13, the situation on the border with Belarus is controlled and stable. The Ukrainian border guards have sufficient resources to ensure the protection of the state border.
This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
Additional resources have been invested to protect the Ukraine-Belarus border, including Dozor units and dog handlers. Border aviation forces constantly monitor the border from the air using drones.
“Measures continue, first of all, to prevent violations of the law and avoid any provocation, atypical situations, including illegal border crossing by groups of people,” the service said.
Additionally, the state border is constantly patrolled by patrols with service dogs, and border guards are monitoring from technical posts.
Let us remind you that the situation in Belarus has been unstable since August. Massive protests continue in the country over the falsification of the presidential elections. In this regard, the Ukrainian authorities decided to strengthen security on the state border with Belarus.
It should be noted that this week, on the border with Belarus, a Belarusian family asked Ukrainian border guards to provide protection due to pressure from law enforcement.
