In Donbas, on September 4, an act of violation of the ceasefire was recorded. There are no combat casualties or gunshot wounds among Joint Forces personnel.
This was reported by the press center at the JFO headquarters.
Not far from the village of Avdeevka, the militants fired single shots with grenade launchers and several short bursts of small arms.
“Our defenders did not open fire in response to enemy provocation,” JFO headquarters noted.
Since the beginning of this day, on September 5, there has been no bombardment of the armed formations of the Russian Federation in all areas of responsibility of the Ukrainian units.
According to JFO headquarters, firefighting continues in Donbass.
“Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the firefighters of the State Emergency Service, are participating in the extinguishing of the fire near the settlements of Lopaskino, Trehizbenka, Novgorodskoye and Krasnogorovka. The necessary amount of equipment and personnel has been involved in the elimination of fires, “said the press center.
In addition, in the front-line areas, sappers from the Joint Forces cleared more than ten hectares of land, found and transferred 58 explosives for destruction.
To minimize the consequences of the artillery bombardment of previous years, the United Forces rescuers are carrying out restoration work on damaged homes and infrastructure. During the last day, they repaired 11 houses. Work continues at nine other sites.
Let us remind you that during the last day, September 3, the regime of “silence” remained along the entire line of contact, there were no losses or combat injuries among the Ukrainian military.
Furthermore, the JFO headquarters accused the militants of being involved in the Donbass fires.
It was also reported that in the Lugansk region a soldier died as a result of the fires, two more people with burns of varying severity were hospitalized.
