The representative of Russia in the negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group Boris Gryzlov did not participate in the meeting on Wednesday, December 16, reports the press service of the Ukrainian delegation.
The delegation of Ukraine once again recalled its position: the basis of the settlement is the entire set of agreements reached in the Normandy format, as well as the Minsk agreements as such, and confirms its willingness to continue to work consistently to implement them, for which, in particular, it has proposed its Joint Steps Plan “, – says the message.
It should be noted that Leonid Kravchuk demands that the Russian side, as a member of the TCG, assume political responsibility and formally define its position on the need to comply with the agreements reached in Paris.
The Ukrainian side continues to insist on the implementation of the following measures:

unhindered access by the ICRC and other international humanitarian organizations to detainees,

release of detained persons,

Russian unblocking of the checkpoint operation.

finalization of the agreement on nineteen demining sites,
-
finalization of the agreement on four new hatcheries,
-
ensure free and unhindered access of the OSCE SMM to the entire territory of Ukraine.
It is also noted that there are five days until the opening of the checkpoint Felicidad and “the Russian side will have no formal reason not to open the checkpoint on their part”, “because all the technical conditions for such opening (the point of turning of the bus) will be fulfilled by the government of Ukraine. “
Earlier, Kravchuk said that he sees no prerequisites for holding a Normandy format leaders meeting even in 2021. They also see no point in meeting in Russia.
