An agreement on a common aviation space is being prepared for signature “in the near future,” the statement said. The document was scheduled to be signed at the Ukraine-EU summit in October, but this did not happen.
Furthermore, the letter says that the work of the EU preliminary assessment mission has started in the context of the future Agreement on the assessment of conformity and acceptability of industrial products.
September 16, 2014 the Verkhovna Rada and the European Parliament approved simultaneously Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. September 1, 2017 came into force in full. At the Ukraine-EU summit in October 2020, which took place in Brussels, the parties agreed to update the Agreement.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, as of July 2020, the agreement was 41.6% fulfilled.
