The results of the exit poll in the Dnipro mayor elections – Filatov wins

On Sunday, October 25, the results of the exit poll for the elections in Dnipro were released. The current head of the City Council, Boris Filatov, is in the lead with a score of 44.47%.

This is demonstrated by the data from the exit poll commissioned by Ukraine 24 television channel and Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Speech program.

Current mayor Boris Filatov from the Propozitsiya party, Oleksandr Vilkul from the Vilkul bloc “Ukrainian Perspective”, Zagid Krasnov from the “Civil Force”, Sergei Ryzhenko from the “Servant of the People”, Sergei Nikitin from PLOZh are running for mayor this year.

Krasnov ranked second with the result of 14.44%, Vilkul ranked third with 11.27%. Furthermore, Ryzhenko has 10.6% and Nikitin 8.81%.

Filatov leads in Dnipro mayor elections, - exit poll

Earlier, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, Filatov said that he hopes to win in the first round. However, the results of the exit poll indicate that there will be a second round of elections for the mayor.

According to the exit poll, the following political forces pass to the Dnipro City Council:

  • “Offer”: 28.33%;
  • HLE: 17.15%;
  • “Servant of the people” – 15.21%;
  • “Public force”: 10.44%;
  • “European solidarity”: 7.50%;
  • Vilkula block “Ukrainian perspective” – ​​5.24%.

The Sharia Party also has a chance to be right, winning 4.41%.

Note that a case was opened in Dnipro due to possible bribery of voters by mayoral candidate Krasnov.

Let us remind you that the Ministry of the Interior as of October 21 switched to an improved way of working in relation to local elections.

According to a survey by the Rating Sociological Group, the second wave of coronavirus may reduce turnout in local elections in Ukraine.
