FC Lviv coach Vitaly Shumsky does not understand why he received a yellow card and demands an explanation from the referee team.

On February 20, during the match between FC Lviv and FC Kolos, which took place in Lviv, there was a language scandal. According to Football.ua, in the 67th minute of the match, the referee showed a yellow card to the “golden lions” coach Vitaly Shumsky.

After the match, Shumsky gave an interview in which he stated: “I want to communicate in Ukrainian, but they give me yellow cards for this. I cannot understand why I received a warning. I would like the fourth official (Nikolay Krivonosov, Kiev, – Attention) explained to the whole of Ukraine, that’s why he asked to give me a yellow card. This is a precedent, it cannot be like that ”, said the coach.

According to Shumsky, he approached the fourth official to tell him something about the game, but he replied in Russian. When asked by the mentor why he was not speaking to him in the language of the state, he told the head referee by radio to give him a yellow card.

“I ask the head referee: ‘Why do I need a yellow card? “He did not explain. I would like the entire referee team to answer for what they gave me a yellow card, because this cannot be like that.” Vitaly Shumsky said.

The football match ended with a score of 0: 2 in favor of Kolos.
