The current quarantine ends at the end of the month, first it will extend until May, and then, most likely, they will extend again.
The quarantine in Ukraine will last until April 30 and will be extended even further. This was announced on Thursday, February 4, by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal during a meeting at the European Business Association.
“We will extend the quarantine until April 30. But I have already said that most likely, sadly, this is not the final date the quarantine will end … It will continue in one way or another, perhaps with weakening. It will be adaptive and depending on how the virus strains develop … it can change. There is no need for any illusions, we are still in the stage of fighting coronavirus, “said Shmyhal.
The prime minister hopes that the coronavirus in Ukraine can be defeated this year.
“We expect victory this year, but the month of April is an indicator … How will we move forward?” He said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health said that since the beginning of December last year, the incidence of the coronavirus in Ukraine has fallen three times. In connection with a decrease in incidence, the Cabinet plans to return to adaptive quarantine.
