The quarantine in Ukraine has been extended until the end of 2020 and schools are advised to go on vacation starting tomorrow. Furthermore, the criteria for assigning administrative zones to the quarantine “red zone” have changed.

According to the decree, the quarantine was extended until December 31st… Furthermore, if in a region for five consecutive days 50 to 70% of the hospital beds are occupied or less than 48 tests are carried out per 100,000 inhabitants, then this region is called the “orange zone”.
Quarantine zones depending on the level of incidence, they are established in the following order:
- “yellow” – from 40 to 160 cases (Kiev, districts and cities up to 70 thousand inhabitants) and from 40 to 120 cases (districts and cities with more than 70 thousand inhabitants) per 100 thousand inhabitants;
- “orange” – from 160 to 320 cases (Kiev, districts and cities with up to 70 thousand inhabitants) and from 120 to 320 cases (districts and cities with more than 70 thousand inhabitants) per 100 thousand inhabitants;
- “red” – more than 320 cases per 100 thousand people.
It is forbidden to carry out massive events (cultural, sports, social, religious, advertising and others) with the participation of more than 50 people, as well as work in cafes and restaurants from 22:00 to 07:00. Events with the participation of more than 30 people are prohibited in the “yellow zone”, in the “orange”, more than 20 people.
In administrative zones with “green”, “yellow” and “orange” levels, sports events of the Ukrainian national teams and football clubs are allowed without spectators. Where You can play international matches with fans. by separate agreement with the Ministry of Health.
Additionally, schools are encouraged to establish holidays from October 15 to 30… After this, it is possible to switch to distance and mixed learning, taking into account the epidemic situation. Universities and schools are recommended from October 15 to November 15, 2020 for distance education with the departure of students from hostels.
We will recall, it was previously reported that students from Crimea and Donbass will be able to stay in hostels during distance learning.
It was also reported that the “red zone” of quarantine will be defined in a new way.
