Earlier it was learned that a significant number of soldiers from the internal troops and the riot police were attracted to the Government House in the Plaza de la Independencia. In particular, Sovetskaya Street, adjacent to the government building, is lined with trucks for transporting personnel, rice wagons, water cannons and other special equipment to disperse protesters.
Also, there are several ambulances on the street.
Girls in national costumes brought a pumpkin to the Government House
In the morning, a group of girls in national costumes and pumpkins in hand gathered at the Central Post Office in Minsk, writes the Onliner newspaper.
So, the girls wanted to enter the Government House, but were not allowed to go through the fence.
“There is a Belarusian folk tradition. When a girl rejected a boy, she threw pumpkins at him, and it was a great insult … Therefore, we decided to throw pumpkins for the most unwanted boy, even grandfather,” said one of the girls .
At some point, a blue minibus without numbers approached the activists, but no one was detained.

The newspaper also notes that in Minsk, law enforcement officers have installed a fence on Independence Square.

In the center of Minsk, on Independence Avenue, there was a clash between security agents and activists. At least one person is known to have been arrested.

In addition, the Telegram channel NEXTA Live reports that the Ploshchad Pobedy, Oktyabrskaya, Kupalovskaya and Ploschad Lenina metro stations are closed.
