The price of gas has risen by more than hryvnia after a month-long hiatus
The gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine set the price of natural gas for residential customers in January 2021 at 7.22 UAH / cu. m with VAT and excluding the cost of distribution (delivery). This is 14% higher compared to December this year (UAH 6.33).

In particular, the Naftogaz Ukrainy group of companies raised the price in August by 9% to 3.24 UAH / cu. m) In September, the price of gas increased another 45% to 4.70 UAH / cubic meter. m) In addition, “Naftogaz” increased the annual price of gas for the population of 4.73 UAH / cu. m up to 5.24 UAH / cubic meter.
In October, the price of gas did not change.
In November, Naftogaz increased the price of gas for its customers by 35% to 6.33 UAH / cu. Furthermore, the “annual” fee has increased by 23.1% since November, from 5.24 UAH / cu. m up to 6.45 UAH / cu. meter.
In December the price of gas did not change either.
At the same time, the Naftogaz press service pointed out that, according to the new rules of the natural gas market, the population (domestic consumers) can buy gas directly from Naftogaz Ukrainy State Corporation or from any other supplier. The company’s participation in the supply of gas to the population was 2.5%.
