Militiamen published a photo of two people who are wanted on suspicion of organizing the burning of the journalists’ car. Police believe it was beneficial for them to create tension.
The police identified two alleged organizers of the arson of the Plan’s journalists’ car. The suspects could act as part of an organized criminal group and “it was beneficial for them to create tension.” This was stated by the police chief of the Kiev region, Andrey Nebytov, on Facebook.
“We are looking for two ‘gentlemen’ for organizing the fire of the Radio Liberty Scheme car. This is in addition to the one previously detained by the Brovarsky court. Next week they will be chosen as a preventive measure.
He believes that the alleged organizers, and it is suspected that Yuri Protsenko and Dmitry Obodovsky, could act as part of an organized criminal group.
The Kiev region police chief also stressed that law enforcement officers are establishing clients.
“And these are exactly the people who were beneficial in creating tension between authorities, law enforcement officials and the journalistic community by destroying the property of famous people,” Nebytov said.
He promised to do everything possible to bring those involved in the arson of the car to justice.
Recall that on the night of August 17 in Brovary, the car of the journalists from the Scheme program caught fire. On August 26, the National Police arrested a resident of the Luhansk region, suspected of setting a car on fire.
It was also reported that a car was set on fire for the popular deputy Geo Leros. “Servant” called the incident “a political warning.”
