The car of the people’s deputy of “Servant of the people” Geo Leros was set on fire in Kiev. Witnesses heard cotton in the 14th floor apartment, the town deputy said.
People’s Servant Party MP Geo Leros said on Facebook that on the night of August 28, unknown attackers set his car on fire in Kiev.
Leros posted a video of the car engulfed in fire.

He later wrote that witnesses heard cotton in the 14th floor apartment.
“There is no doubt, it was arson. Whoever did it, I’ll find you, you rejoice early, ”said the people’s deputy.
Police and the State Emergency Service have not yet reported the incident.
Leros did not specify which car was burned. In the declaration for 2019 the deputy indicated that he owns a 2008 Audi R8 car. He also uses a 2014 BMW 220D and a 1980 Ford Capri, which he does not own.
Leros was elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine in 2019 from the Servant of the People party (number 23 on the list).
In May 2020, a public scandal broke out involving Leros. He posted videos in which the brother of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, Denis Yermak, allegedly discusses the appointment of people to public office.
Andriy Yermak threatened Leros with an investigation. His brother called the records “slicing” and the work of scammers, but did not deny that in the tapes it was him. President Volodymyr Zelensky said they wanted to blackmail him with these recordings.
In May, unknown persons set fire to Dmitry Shtanko’s motorcycle and threw a grenade at Sergei Shumsky’s car. Both are involved in the “Ermak tapes” case.
