For two weeks during a harsh quarantine, the people’s deputies will work in committees, Alexander Kornienko explained.

The MPs will serve on parliamentary committees during a strict quarantine scheduled for January. This was stated by the head of the Servants of the People party, Alexander Kornienko, during a briefing on Monday, December 14.

He recalled that the plenary weeks were scheduled for January 11-15 and January 18-22.

“Now in these weeks there will be work in the committees, that is, from January 11 to 22. Next week, which was planned as a day off, because it was a break between two sessions, this week from January 25 to 29 we will be working. Therefore, in fact, we Use our holidays. And for two weeks (during the confinement – ed.) there will be work in the committees, “said Kornienko.

He added that during the plenary week of January, bills that will not have time to be considered in the December 15-18 period may be considered.

We will recall, on December 15, that the Verkhovna Rada will consider several important issues. In particular, the draft state budget for 2021 will be considered at the second reading, Parliament Speaker Dmitry Razumkov said on Monday during the conciliation council.

Also tomorrow the Rada will consider the law on the extension of the special status of Donbass.
