OnePlus has officially acknowledged the existence of the OnePlus Band fitness tracker (tentative name) by posting the first image of the upcoming novelty.
The other day, we learned that OnePlus is actually wider than originally thought to conquer the wearable electronics market, and alongside its first smartwatch in early 2021, the manufacturer will also launch a fitness bracelet from $ 40, with the aim of competing with the leader Xiaomi Mi Band. And today the manufacturer has published the first teaser showing part of the body of the future novelty.

The teaser itself, as usual, doesn’t give a clear idea of the design, and OnePlus is in no rush to reveal detailed specs. However, insiders did it for her.

As you can see, the OnePlus Band design is very common and doesn’t differ much from most devices in this class: a capsule with electronic components on a silicone strap with a clasp. The security of the bracelet on the hand remains a question.

OnePlus Band preliminary specifications and key features
- 1.1 inch AMOLED screen;
- support for 13 types of sports activities;
- functions of a heart rate monitor (monitors the user’s pulse in 24/7 mode) and a pulse oximeter (the ability to assess blood oxygen saturation SpO2), sleep monitoring;
- Autonomy of 14 days;
- protection against dust and humidity according to IP68 standard.
The OnePlus Band will initially hit the Indian market, priced at Rs 2,499 ($ 34). Its announcement is scheduled for January 11.
