Krykliy announced that it is fully ready for the final operation.
The final stage of the operation to lift and tow the sunken tanker Delfi begins on the beach in Odessa. All tests have been completed, ecological status is normal.
Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krikliy wrote about this on the Telegram channel.
As noted by the minister, the final operation includes the following:
- pumping water from tanks, where it was supplied specifically to ensure a stable position on the ground (there were high waves and wind the other day);
- flow tests;
- moving deep;
- installation of ropes and devices to tie the tanker between the DM barge and the Atlas-4 floating crane;
- confirmation of the possibility of transition from the water area and the transition itself.
As a reminder, work to lift the sunken Delfi tanker in Odessa may be postponed due to the storm season; The exact date of completion of the work in the Ministry of Infrastructure is not mentioned. At first, it was planned to tow the Delfi tanker from Odessa beach “Dolphin” until August 24.
It was also reported that there is a large hole aboard the Delfi tanker, which will take a week to investigate.
