President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Sergei Grinevetsky as Chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration (RSA). This is stated in Decree No. 520/2020 of November 27, the press service of the Head of State.

“Appoint Grinevetsky Sergei Rafailovich as chairman of the Odessa regional state administration,” the document says.

At the same time, through decree no. 519/2020, the head of state released Vyacheslav Ovechkin, chairman of the Odessa Regional State Administration, from his temporary duties.

The President’s Office added that Zelensky had already given Grinevetsky an official certificate, wishing him a fruitful job.

The newly appointed head of the Regional State Administration was born in 1957 in the village of Luzhanka, Tarutinsky district, Odessa region. In 1979 he graduated from the Odessa Refrigeration Industry Institute of Technology (mechanical engineer). 1985 – Agricultural Academy of Ukraine, Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization.

Grinevetsky has 38 years of experience. He was a popular deputy of the VI and VII convocations, deputy of the Odessa Regional Council since November of this year. Has certificates of honor from the Cabinet of Ministers and Verkhovna Rada, state awards.

Earlier today it was reported that Zelensky had appointed Aina Tymchuk as president of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration in place of Oleksiy Kucher.
