The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ukraine is growing again, the total number of infected has exceeded 140 thousand.

On the morning of September 8, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine reached 140,479. 2,934 people died from COVID-19, 63,546 patients have already recovered.

During the last day, 2,411 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Ukraine. This is evidenced by data from the National Defense and Security Council.

On the eve 2,174 new cases of infection were registered.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine has reached 140 479.

COVID-19-related deaths hit 2934 (57 people have died in the last 24 hours). 63 546 patients have already recovered (+940 per day). It still hurts 73 999 patients.

Most of the new cases of infection were detected in the Kiev (235), Kharkov (230), Odessa (196) and Lviv (192) regions.

On the morning of September 8, 27,256,723 people were infected with coronavirus in the world. 891,308 people were victims of COVID-19, 18,251,538 people recovered.
