According to Defense Minister Andrei Taran, these missile systems, which were manufactured by Luch’s design bureau, will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian army in the Black and Azov seas. The Ukrainian Navy has already formed a corresponding subsection.

The Neptune missile system is designed to destroy cruisers, destroyers, frigates, corvettes, amphibious assault ships, tank landing ships, and transports in all weather conditions and at any time of the day or year.
The complex is equipped with cruise missiles capable of flying at ultra-low altitudes. The shooting range is up to 300 km. Automatic target detection and acquisition occurs up to 50 km away.
