At a meeting of the Servants of the People faction on December 15, the deputies together with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will discuss five candidates for positions in the Cabinet of Ministers.
This was announced by the Telegram channel “Iron People’s Deputy” of the People’s Deputy of the “Voice” Yaroslav Zheleznyak. The faction will meet late at night.
According to him, representatives of the single majority will hold an interview with the former executive director of NJSC Naftogaz Yuri vitrenko, who is proposed for the position of First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy.
He is considered a candidate for the position of Minister of Education. Sergey shkarlet, who is now acting head of the ministry.
In addition, the people’s deputies will consider the candidacy of the head of the State Geological and Subsurface Service of Ukraine. Romana Opimaha to the post of head of the Ministry of Ecology in place of Roman Abramovsky, appointed in June 2020.
Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Roman leshchenko proposed for the post of Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. It is now occupied by Igor Petrashko.
The Minister of Veterans Affairs, Serhiy Bessarab, may be replaced by the first Ukrainian woman general Julia Laputina, who is a member of the Advisory Council of War Veterans, Families of the Defenders of Ukraine.
The message says that Oleg Nemchinov will keep his post as Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The popular deputy of “Servant of the people” Alexander Kachura on Telegram Pravda Kachura confirmed the candidacies that will be considered for the faction. He also clarified that the meeting was postponed from 18:30 to “late at night.”
As OBOZREVATEL reported, the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party in a meeting on the evening of December 15 will consider a number of personnel issues, President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to attend the event.
