In Kiev, law enforcement officers have arrested a third suspect, who may be involved in the murder of the famous musician Alexander Derevyanko.
According to the Kiev police press service, a 31-year-old Kiev resident helped two accomplices hide the body of the murdered man in a garage cooperative in the Kiev region. In addition, he stole expensive musical instruments from the musician’s apartment.
“Law enforcement officers detained the man in accordance with Article 208 of the Ukrainian Code of Criminal Procedure. A search was made at his place of residence, during which the stolen instruments were seized, as well as the clothes of one of the charged with traces that looked like blood, “said the press service.
The attacker was informed of the suspicion of having committed crimes under article 396 (concealment of a crime) and part 3 of article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In the near future, the court will choose a restraining measure for the suspect.
OBOZREVATEL previously reported that the famous musician, Alexander Derevyanko, 65, who disappeared on November 29, was killed in his apartment. The suspects in the crime were arrested.
His goal was to take possession of two apartments from a lone musician, which belonged to him as property, money and other material values.
