PrivatBank made a profit of 16.2 billion hryvnia

At the end of the seven months of 2020, 58 out of 75 Ukrainian operating banks turned out to be profitable.

In January-July this year, PrivatBank was the most profitable bank in Ukraine, and the State Export-Import Bank was the least profitable. This is evidenced by the data from the National Bank of Tuesday, September 8.

Thus, PrivatBank made a profit of UAH 16.201 billion during the reporting period. The second position in the list of the most profitable banks is occupied by the state-owned Oschadny Bank (4.316 million hryvnia), the third – by Raiffeisen Bank Aval (2.457 million hryvnia).

FUIB ranks fourth (1.501 billion UAH), in fifth place – OTP Bank (908.94 billion UAH).

The biggest loss was recorded by Ukreximbank (2,243 million UAH). The second position is held by Prominvestbank (330.93 million hryvnia).

Overall, based on seven-month results, 58 of the 75 operating banks were profitable.

It was previously reported that for seven months of 2020, Ukrainian banks received 28.39 billion UAH in net profit. This is almost 23% less than in the same period in 2019 (UAH 36.73 billion).
