In Ukraine, as of January 1, 2021, gas subscription rates will increase in all regions. For some, the price will more than double. This is due to the increase in the cost of delivery and distribution of blue fuel, increased wages and the need to repair communications.
As indicated in the OBOZREVATEL material, up-to-date prices are not currently known for all regional gas companies. Among the published rates, the highest growth for Ternopilgaz customers is from 1.03 to 2.34 UAH per cubic meter.
How is the monthly fee calculated?
The total volume of gas that was used from October 2019 to October 2020 is divided by 12 months. The resulting figure is multiplied by the rate. For example, if a Ternopilgaz customer spent 1,000 cubic meters during the specified period, they will have to pay monthly subscription fees for 83.3 cubic meters. Now it is UAH 85.8, and from January 1 – UAH 194.9.
How did you calculate the monthly fee?

Why do I need a monthly fee?
Thanks to the introduction of monthly tariffs, Ukrainians have the right to change gas supplier. So, regional gas must pay for communication, transportation and distribution of blue fuel. But who to buy the gas itself from – you can choose from dozens of offers. For example, on average, Naftogaz customers pay around UAH 2 more than customers associated with regional gas sales.
