Since the new year in Ukraine, the minimum pension has been increased for people over 65 with full experience.
This was reported by the Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebnaya, writes Radio Liberty. Pensioners in this category will receive increased payments as early as January.
According to the official, the total length of service for a woman is 30 years, for a man, 35.
“For these people, the minimum pension payment is increasing. For example, if there is a person with such parameters, he has 2 thousand hryvnias, then (the pension – ed.) It will increase by 400 hryvnias. This will be 2400. Who has 2100 hryvnias. , it means that for 300. We have already calculated, all the calculations, all the information is already prepared ”, he clarified.
In general, the increase will affect 2.2 million Ukrainians, their average size for each will be different – 350-360 UAH, Lazebnaya said.
The smallest pension will be 2,400 hryvnia, it will be received by all those whose current payment is below this threshold, stressed the minister.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL announced that in Ukraine as of January 1, 2021, the minimum wage increased to 6 thousand UAH, as of December 1, its size will be 6.5 thousand UAH
