The Ministry of Health awaits information from UNICEF on the start of the supply of vaccines
In Ukraine, they announced the start of vaccination on February 15, however, there is still no vaccine in the country and the delivery date is unknown.
Ukraine still does not know the delivery date of the coronavirus vaccine to the country. This was announced in a briefing on Monday, February 8, by Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko.
He noted that the start date of vaccination depends on the supply of the vaccine, and the Ministry of Health does not yet know this date.
“The exact date depends on when the vaccine is delivered to Ukraine. We are awaiting information from UNICEF on when the vaccine will be transported to Ukraine,” Lyashko said.
By the way, earlier, February 15 was named as the start date of vaccination in Ukraine. The first doses of the vaccine against coronavirus infection are scheduled to be received by medical workers: doctors, nurses, nurses.
Earlier, the chief medical officer, Viktor Lyashko, said that doctors can make five million vaccinations every month. And if necessary, their number will double.
The Health Ministry plans to vaccinate 21 million people in autumn.
