The subway in the capital will open only if the pandemic confidently subsides. This will not happen until the fourth stage of the quarantine exit.
This was announced by the Chief Medical Officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.
“We plan to open the subway in the fourth stage, when for 10 consecutive days the number of new unrelated cases of the disease will be less than 5 per region,” said Lyashko.
Keep in mind that the decision to open the metro will depend directly on the epidemic situation in the country. It is impossible to predict this yet.
– If we talk about 5 unrelated cases, then it is clear that in this case the epidemic will finally decrease. Let’s see how it works, if we cannot open the subway for so long from an economic point of view. Again, this will be a matter of discussion and monitoring of the number of cases, the willingness of the health system to accept them, Lyashko added.
Recall, Vitali Klitschko said that the opening of large shopping malls will begin during the second phase of lifting the restrictions. They will most likely resume their work after ground transportation begins.
