The next few months will be very difficult for Ukraine, but the Ministry of Health is trying to make sure there are fewer victims of the coronavirus.
The period of high incidence of the coronavirus in Ukraine will last until April next year, and this period will be very difficult, the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, said on Wednesday, November 11, on the Hard with Vlaschenko program.
According to him, the main task of this period is to reduce the number of victims of the coronavirus.
“It will be quite difficult to go through this period. We believe that until April. The point is not that we go through it easily, we will go through it with force. The main thing now is with the human losses that we go through,” Stepanov said.
He also noted that he sees the task of the Ministry of Health and the Cabinet of Ministers in keeping the number of COVID-19 victims as small as possible.
We will recall, in Ukraine from November 14, a weekend quarantine is introduced. On weekends the work of entertainment establishments, restaurants, cafes, gyms and non-grocery stores and shopping centers will be prohibited. The ministry says they need “three days off in a row.”
